So if you or your family want to try surfing…WE GOT YOU COVERED! There is a great little surf school literally less than a minute walk from the condo. It is called Kahaluu Bay Surf and Sea. They give their lessons right at the condo beach (Kahaluu). I have had friends and family use them and had lots of great things to say about this surf school. There is a nice viewing area for spectators in back of the little white and blue church. You can walk to the back of the church and sit on the rock wall and take some great pictures of your family while they surf. Please be respectful of the native church grounds. When the waves are up it can get very busy. When the surf is down…not so much. I would not make these reservations that far in advance until you know what the weather is going to be like during your stay. But walk up to these guys one afternoon and chat with them. They are very friendly and the location is oh so convenient!
