This restaurant is located in the pleasant town of Waimea. Merriman’s is a classic fish house of Hawaii with several restaurants on other Islands. Their claim to fame is their fresh fish. Although, this is a good restaurant and if I were on a long stay in Hawaii, I would put it on the list. The food is good and the specials can be amazing, but a bit pricey. Again, nothing bad to say about Merriman’s and it is good! If fresh fine seafood is what you are craving it might be worth the drive. You may need a reservation in high season.
