DO NOT JUDGE THIS BOOK BY ITS COVER! We drove by this little taco truck for years before stopping. We now agree that this food truck delivers one of the best, if not they best, taco on the Island. Even the best fish taco! You order at the truck and then you can take your grinds to go or sit inside or outside on the patio with a water view. Our absolute favorite is the carnitas and the ONO fish tacos. If they have fresh ONO… best taco on the island! These are not your simple street tacos, they are full on island style street tacos and delicious. Get the “chessy tortilla” upgrade on your tacos. This truck is about a 15-20 minute drive South. It is a great stop on your way or way back from Two Steps. If you have a picky eater in your crew, the simple cheese quesadilla is sure to please. Be sure to check this truck out once or twice!
Update: They have opened a second location in the Ali’i Gardens Market Place just a few miles north of our Condo. This location has a slightly different menu and hours than the Captain Cook location and it is so conveniently located to the Condo.
