Keike Beach

January 1, 2021

If you have a toddler or a little one that wants to play in the water, this is the beach for you. Our grand daughter, Addison, loves this beach. It is the perfect place to wade ankle to waist high in calm (usually) warm water. It is a great spot to teach kids and little ones to snorkel. This beach is surrounded my multi million dollar homes, all of which are private, property except this beach. The beach access is a bit challenging as you have to navigate a public soccer field. But once you figure out how to get there, you will be so happy you did. There is a picture at the end of my slide show that outlines a map to navigate the public access for this beach. The video below also shows you how to access (in reverse). Basically you park behind the Kona Community Aquatics Center. Park next to the yellow circle on my map. Go through a small open area in the fence. Then navigate through the field (see my yellow lines). Once you get to the end of the field there is a small opening in the fence line. This will take you out of the soccer field and into the private residential area. Stay on the marked public beach access path. You will go through beach pathway (pictured in my pictures) that will take you right to the beach. You have arrived. Take your little ones there and have a blast!
